Facilitating

I work with project teams and groups preparing for and facilitating high-stakes meetings and processes. Whether you’re launching a project, storming through disagreement, creating your teams norms and ethics, maximizing performance, or wrapping up well, I help your group listen to one another, communicate clearly, and move forward with care.

Form: clarify purpose, roles, and expectations at the start.
Storm: work through differences productively when they surface.
Norm: agree on how the group will communicate and make decisions.
Perform: keep momentum and well-being strong while the work gets done.
Adjourn: not all teams are meant to last forever, so close well by reflecting, celebrating, and carrying lessons forward.

Begin with the end in mind. Before we start, we define what success looks like for your team.

Ways I can help:

  • Project kickoffs

  • Critical or high-stakes meetings

  • Team retreats

  • Facilitated dialogue across difference

  • Project close-outs

What Facilitating Clients Say

“So much positive momentum and really good systems thinking came from Liz’s care for our team.”

“Elizabeth is great at listening and inviting people into the conversation. She has a talent for responding with empathy but also concrete ideas.”

“Elizabeth is all about validating experience, drawing out thoughts from everyone. She strikes a good balance between leaning into a hot topic, and being careful not to let one or two dominant voices be at the center each and every week. She is clearly well-practiced at leading these kinds of discussions.”

“I always come away from our interactions feeling heard, appreciated, and a valued member of my community. This is because of all of the community culture work she has done behind the scenes.”
